For Wellness Ability NDIS Service Scope 0125: Participation in Community, Social, and Civic Activities supports participants in engaging with their community and building social connections.

We schedule the regular activities to supports participants in engaging in activities that foster social inclusion, community engagement, and active citizenship. This service helps individuals with disabilities participate in a wide range of community and social activities that align with their personal interests, hobbies, and goals, enabling them to lead fuller and more connected lives.

  • Participants who wish to engage in community or social activities but require support to do so due to their disability.
  • Individuals who may be isolated or have limited opportunities to interact with others and need assistance to participate in social or recreational settings.
  • Social Activities: Support to participate in social gatherings, meet new people, join clubs, or attend social events like parties, dinners, or community festivals.
  • Community Participation: Assistance in engaging with local community activities, such as volunteering, attending community events, or joining community groups and programs.
  • Recreational Activities: Help in taking part in recreational or leisure activities that the participant enjoys, such as sports, arts, music, or cultural activities.
  • Civic Engagement: Support to participate in civic responsibilities, such as attending local council meetings, engaging in advocacy groups, or volunteering for community services.
